Enjoying its own garden it sits near two similar properties within easy reach of Bude's surf and wide sandy beach the pretty village of Clovelly (where the only transport on its steep cobbled lanes is by donkey and sledge) and the granite contours and picturesque villages of Dartmoor National Park. Regular boat excursions to Lundy Island (2 hours) depart from the bustling harbour at Bideford and nearby great coastal walking affords stunning views of Atlantic breakers from Hartland Point. RHS Rosemoor and the Dartington Crystal factory at Great Torrington are also well worth a visit. Golf fishing and riding are all available nearby. Pub serving food and shop ¼ mile.
