Conveniently situated, just off the main street of this peaceful and popular Speyside village, this well presented semi-detached cottage has a lovely secluded rear garden with patio area and garden furniture. There is a gate opening into the adjacent unspoiled pine forests, which are home to a variety of wild and bird life including the rare red squirrel. The living space features a bright open area running from the kitchen, through the lounge to the dining conservatory, which opens to the patio and garden. Well appointed and equipped, this comfortable, cosy house is perfect for a family break at any time of year. All accommodation is ground floor and there is private parking for two cars.
Boat of Garten lies within the Cairngorm National Park and a holiday here can be totally relaxing as you enjoy the natural beauty and abundant wildlife of the surrounding countryside. Alternatively visitors can experience an exhilaratingly action-packed holiday participating in the wealth of activities including walking, climbing, mountain biking, golf, angling, sailing, water sports, riding and winter sports. The village has two shops, a hotel, restaurant, golf course and is on the Strathspey Steam Railway. There are good train and bus connections to the mountain resort of Aviemore ( 6 miles) and the Highland Capital of Inverness (30 miles). Inverness has all the facilities of a major city with excellent shopping, eating out, theatres and leisure amenities. The nearby Landmark Centre in Carrbridge has slides, tree-top trails and woodland mazes, well worth a visit and this is the start of the renowned Speyside Whisky Trail.
