In a magically secluded location with breathtaking views over the Eden Valley and the Pennines this recently converted barn is a real Cumbrian high fell-top retreat yet lies only 6 miles from the trans-pennine road. Set near Stainmore edging the Yorkshire Dales National Park it offers great walking from the door. The market town of Kirkby Stephen with restaurants shops and Carlisle/Settle railway station is 6 miles as is England's highest pub. Barnard Castle and Bowes Museum 10 miles Ullswater 25 miles. Pub 4 miles.

First floor: Spacious sitting room with electric 'wood burner effect' fire and study. Large kitchen/dining room. Laundry room.

"This holiday was so enjoyable that our party all want to go back next year the barn/house was so clean and tidy it was a home from home but in a fantastic setting really good for keen walkers of all ages and fitness the owners were really nice and helpful to us but they were there if we needed them otherwise they just let us get on with our holiday. The bedrooms were really spacious and tastefully decorated as was the rest of the house. The views were breathtaking totally a five star holiday. The location gives you a real get away feeling but you are 5 miles away from Kirkby Stephen were you can shop and eat out or go for a take out. We all really loved it 10 out of 10 for location and setting."
