Customer reviews

Feedback from customers about Aidens-Berwick-upon-Tweed-Northumberland includes:

"A lovely homely yet modern apartment in a wonderful location. Great for those with young families and dogs the beach promenade and play area only minutes walk away. Altogether a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. "

Mrs S, 27/09/2009 04:04

"This is a fantastic base for seeing the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish borders with every facility close at hand."

Mr S, 11/08/2009 04:04

"Great apartment great position overall a very good experience. "

Mr G, 04/08/2009 04:05

"We had a great holiday at Aidens. The accommodation is first class - modern and comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. The complimentary bottle of wine the milk bread and butter etc were a nice added touch. The beach wasn't two minutes away though - it was much closer (30 - 45 seconds) even walking slowly! The area has loads to do (Holy Island Bamburgh Castle etc) but if you're happy with a two hour drive North Doune Castle near Stirling is the best castle in the UK. You can explore just about the whole castle freely (up and down turrets and into hidden rooms!) without being 'hassled' by tour guides. We recommend taking the new audio tour narrated by Terry Jones (from Monty Python). 'Python' fans will recognise the castle from 'The Holy Grail' film. Whilst you're up near Edinburgh a visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia is also well worth the effort and VERY good value for money."
