Snape is world famous for its concert hall and music festivals, it is also a popular self catering holiday location due to its proximity to Aldeburgh, the Heritage Coast, the heaths, forests, rivers and bird reserves as well as all the other areas of interest within the county. The quiet lanes and paths in the locality make it an ideal area for walking and cycling. The village itself offers a complex of interesting shops at the Maltings, three pubs a good village store, a post office and a fine church. A wonderful farm shop two miles away provides a wide selection of high-quality local food, with fresh fish on Saturdays.
