Symonds Yat amusement park is nearby - activities include boat rides, fair, picnicking and amusements. The Old Post Office is within 200 yards of an award winning pub/restaurant and within easy driving distance of the market towns of Monmouth, Abergavenny, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, all offering great eateries, tea rooms and shopping. The barn enjoys magnificent views over the surrounding countryside towards the Forest of Dean. The medieval cruck-beamed wing, open to full height, was built in the 15th century and now makes up the living area with gallery. The heavily beamed 16th-century wing has been thoughtfully restored to provide comfortable en-suite accommodation. The barn is particularly suitable for family holidays and reunions, and the dining area is perfect for entertaining.
