Accommodation overview: Set in the heart of an AONB, the views surrounding Winchcombe Farm and its acres of unspoilt grounds are breathtaking. Perfect for walkers, there are many footpaths leading from the door through rolling countryside and magnificent scenery. The detached holiday property itself is architect-designed with a bespoke, galleried staircase and landing. The living room is well furnished and has excellent views out over the grounds. There is also a separate downstairs snug - the perfect getaway for teenagers. Outside is a table tennis table on the patio and an organic vegetable patch. Children are well catered for with an abundance of activities within the grounds, including an outdoor table tennis table and forest activity area. The activity area houses a trampoline, various wooden walkways and climbing frames and plenty of places to play hide and seek. There is also childcare available in the adjacent nursery to be arranged separately with the nursery. There is a nature walk, pond and badger sett situated within the grounds which offer inquisitive children the chance to enjoy spotting nature on the doorstep. The historic market town of Banbury is 8 miles and offers guests the chance to enjoy browsing the shops. Other Cotswold villages that are within easy driving distance include Shipston-on-Stour, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the Water, Burford and Broadway. Each village has its own unique style but all include quaint high streets with antique shops, gift shops, galleries, tea shops and country inns and all are well worth a visit. Only a 20-minute drive from Stratford-upon-Avon, this is also the perfect location from which to explore the area that is famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre takes pride of place. Warwick Castle, Worcester, Royal Leamington Spa, Cheltenham and Evesham are all easily accessible and are full of historic and traditional attractions. Shop 4 miles, pub 1 mile.
