In a beautiful wooded location high above Loch Snizort, this delightful detached house enjoys magnificent views over the bay and headlands to the Outer Isles. Well furnished in a comfortable and welcoming manner, the house has a safely enclosed, well kept grassy garden with garden furniture to enjoy the surroundings and watch the island ferry ply to and fro. Apart from one bedroom all rooms are on ground level.
Uig is a typical West Highland village with attractive white cottages scattered around the bay. There is a good local shop and two hotels are within easy walking distance. The village pottery and the fascinating Isle of Skye Brewery at the harbour welcome visitors. The car ferry offers the opportunity of an intriguing trip to Lewis, Harris, Uist and Benbecula. Uig is in the northern part of the island, half an hour's drive from Portree, and an excellent base for exploring the Trotternish Ridge, the Quirang and the Old Man of Storr where eagles nest.
