Dating back to the 1800s, this detached stone cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and Heritage coastline of East Yorkshire. Lovingly converted by the present owners, it boasts a large garden and is situated on a 70-acre working organic farm. The historic market town of Pickering is only a short drive away, home to one of the longest steam railway in England, offering a memorable journey through to Goathland (Aidensfield in the television series Heartbeat). The outstanding beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors with its rolling hills, deep valleys and rivers is nearby and leads to the North Yorkshire Coast with places such as Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Robin Hoods Bay to visit. Shops ¾ mile. Large living room with wood-burning stove. Spacious farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room. First floor: Two bedrooms, each with sloping ceiling; one double (5ft bed), one twin.
