Lavender Cottage is centrally located to explore Norfolk’s amazing coastline and attractions and the popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea is 2 miles with an excellent wide sandy beach, picturesque fishing port (great for crabbing, fresh shell fish) and town centre with many excellent bistro inns, cafes, restaurants and shops. Holkham Hall and an excellent sandy beach backed by pine trees are 6 miles. Boat trips are available to the seal colony, RSPB and nature reserves at Morson Harbour. Bustling villages including Blakeney Quay, the historical market town of Holt, and Burnham Market are an easy drive. The medieval village of Walsingham (2 miles) is rich in archaeological treasures, historical and religious interests whilst Wells and Walsingham light railway is well worth a visit. The Norfolk Coastal Path offers excellent rambling opportunities, and is an invigorating way to see Norfolk’s smooth green belt. Shops and pub 2 miles. Step to entrance.
