This charming detached thatched cottage is peacefully located along an unmade track, and has attractive enclosed gardens with mature shrubs and trees, as well as a play area for children. Hedgerow offers homely and comfortable family holiday accommodation, combining traditional features with modern equipment. As well as the main living room with wonderful open fire, there is an additional family room, and a dining room to seat 10 occupants, ideal for those family get-togethers. Relax in the lovely gardens; enjoy al-fresco dining or an aperitif before dinner on the warm balmy summer nights. The nearest beach is approximately 10 minutes’ walk and footpaths from the edge of the village lead to Forelands Beach AONB and Culver Down NT where many birds and other wildlife can be seen, including the famous red squirrel. The village of Bembridge on the eastern most point of the island has a friendly quaint charm, local shops, pubs, restaurants, Bembridge Ledge Lifeboat Station and Bembridge Harbour with sailing, fishing and fresh catch of the day where crab and lobster can be enjoyed. Bembridge Windmill NT is a popular tourist attraction and is worthy of a visit.
This popular island offers a wealth of scenic walks, outdoor sports such as golf, riding, crabbing, bathing, gliding, cycling, and bird watching. There is entertainment for all ages. Discover attractions such as Robin Hill Adventure Park, Amazon World, Flamingo Park, Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House - former residence of Queen Victoria, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, The Needles rock formations, Blackgang Chine Theme Park, The Donkey Sanctuary, The Pearl Centre – to name but a few.
