The Cross Passage refers to the days when it separated the animals from the rest of the house - in those days everything lived under the same roof, the animals providing heat for the rest of the house! New owners upgraded the house in 2011 into a very comfortable and welcoming house which is full of character and traditional features, including large stone fire places and walls, with lots of oak beams.
